Establishing a framework

Launch coverage reports that AIWSL and Oak Crest Academy signed a memorandum of understanding on youth development. It identifies the school as the Institute’s first school partner and describes a framework for campus sport and leadership activities.

What the planned program brings together

The proposed approach combines regular movement, team challenges, mentor support, and student reflection. It aims to create opportunities beyond school teams, including chances to lead warm-ups, take responsibility for group tasks, and support younger peers.

Planning with the school

At the time of the coverage, the project was in preparation. Student needs, facilities, equipment, and teacher capacity were to inform the initial pilot. The sources do not establish a completed pilot or current enrollment schedule.

Learning before expanding

The account describes attendance, continued participation, movement habits, and feedback from students, teachers, and families as planned evaluation inputs. Further school connections were described as an ambition, not as established partnerships.
